Consentacle's fully funded already!

Thank you so much, everyone! We've reached the $35,000 we need to do the smallest possible print run of Consentacle, and obviously we couldn't have done it without you. I know some of you just saw the game yesterday or today, while others have told me that they've been waiting literally for years. Thank you for all your patience, and I'm so glad that we've raised the money to be able to send you a copy. OK, gonna sigh in happy relief for one second: one-mississippi. All right, what's next?
Hopefully you all saw some of the details on the Kickstarter project page about "what's in the box." That's what is next: we want to send you even nicer things in the box, which will be possible if we get a larger group of backers together for a bigger production run. There's strength in numbers! For instance, the version of Consentacle that's funded right now will have chipboard tokens (like the Arkham tokens below at left) when ideally we'd like to send you all injection-molded acrylic tokens that are more like the ones you see in the photos and videos.
Since we managed to get together enough people for a $35,000 production run in just 27 hours, I'm hopeful that we can spread the word and get enough people on board for a $55,000 production run soon! And even before that, we have a midway point: at $40,000 raised we'll upgrade the cardstock from greycore to ivorycore (both are decent quality, but ivorycore is more durable, easier to shuffle and has a nice "snap.") That's right: this is one of those "funding goal reached" updates that's exhorting you to tell your friends, so that you can get more better stuff for what you backed!
But most of all, thank you for supporting this game! As our backer Greg from Winnipeg just commented an hour ago: "This game is like the definition of why I love Kickstarter." For sure! Consentacle is a little too risque and unusual to fit the kind of mold that board game publishers usually look for when marketing to hobbyists or families. So thanks for coming together to make it happen on the internet!
